Things you need to know before purchasing.

  • All resin items are cast using a high quality casting resin, resin starts as a liquid form before it is set to be strong like glass, due to the chemical reaction, some air bubbles may form. I do everything in my power to reduce these to a minimum but some air bubbles are to be expected. These may appear to be small chips on edges but will be sanded. Air bubbles are NOT seen as faults or defects.​​​

  • During the drying process flowers can change colour, shrink and in rare cases go brown. White flowers dry cream and can become translucent in some places, I cannot be held responsible for these changes or how your flowers dry. Please note lisianthus dry yellow, light pinks can fade but darker pinks such as cerise pinks will darken and some may have a purple tint. Red flowers dry darker, red flowers also have a velvety texture which cling onto microbubbles. If you would like to discuss possible colour changes please feel free to message me.   • Pressed flowers do not retain their colour as well as other types of preservation, white flowers never stay white and will press more of an antique ivory colour with some browning. When pressed, not all flowers will retain their colour. ​​Colour retention completely relies on the type of flower and the window of time between when they are CUT from the ground to when they are pressed. Due to me being able to know the timeframe between being cut and pressed I cannot predict how they will hold up being pressed. For this reason wedding bouquets are not able to be pressed if they are arrived 5 days or more after the wedding.

  • I do not use colour enhancing techniques, and I am also unable to offer this as an additional service, please have this in mind before purchasing.

  • Not all flowers are able to be pressed, and not all flowers press well. Please bear in mind I have to press each flower to be as thin as a piece of paper, please use your own judgement and common sense with this information in mind when you select a pressed preservation.   • Orphic Treasures is a flower PRESERVATION service, your flowers will be preserved in the condition they are in when they arrive at our studio, not in the condition they were in on your actual event date.

  • If you would like particular flowers using in certain items, or some flowers prioritizing over others please send a hand written or typed note with your flowers (not an email or social media message), otherwise I will use my professional judgment.​​

  • Items come with no warranty, but if carefully looked after they can last for many years and stay beautiful. A care card is sent with every item.​​

  • Please note the sizing of your flowers and my items to ensure your flowers are able to fit in your chosen designs. If you have any queries or are unsure I'm more than happy to advise. I advise the best I can from photos but ultimately it is your responsibility to measure the flowers before purchase, I can only assume you have done this and will place the flowers sent in the moulds.​​​

  • Keepsakes are decorative art only, and not meant to be handled daily, because of this the backs of items may not be as pretty as the front or bottoms of some items may hold more air bubbles or ends of stems. Each item is designed to be forward facing art and admired from the front. Edges may be sharper if they are made at a right angle as they are not machine rounded off, for items such as cubes, blocks and the backs of letters these will be sanded to a degree but too much sanding will cause them to have a frosted edge. ​

  • Coasters and trays are for decorative use only, due to their handmade nature they may not always be suitable for regular functional use. Coasters are heat resistant up to 70 degrees but only 30 days after they have been delivered.

  • ​Please note all my products are handmade, measurements may vary slightly to those stated in descriptions due to manual measurements and items being cast into flexible moulds which tend to bend, as resin is originally a liquid, perfectly straight edges may not always be achieved. Slight imperfections are to be expected but no two items will ever be the same. Each piece is unique and has its own character. They won't be uniform like machine made items.​​

  • All pressed frames are also handmade, not machine made, please allow for slight imperfections as they are hand soldered, stained and welded.

  • Due to the nature of my products, I start prepping for the arrival of your flowers and set materials aside as soon as you order, because of this cancellations after 24 hours will not be accepted.

  • For jewelry, please ensure your size is correct at the time of ordering as this cannot be altered after I have placed an order with my supplier.

  • All resin items are casted in layers to ensure the flowers are kept in the best condition whilst being preserved. In some cases these layer lines will be visible from the side of items. We cast in layers for the best results, therefore visible layer lines are NOT seen as a defect or fault within items.

  • If for any reason I cannot complete your order due to illness or unforeseen circumstances a full refund will be given and another artist can be recommended.​​

  • I kindly ask you prepare your flowers for delivery as per my strict instructions, I reserve the right to reject the order if the flowers are too damaged due to these not being followed. In this instance a refund will be given less a 30% admin and disposal fee. I also stress the importance of attaching your full name and order number to each tupperware box containing flowers. If this is forgotten your flowers may not be matched to your order and may be disposed of. I do not take flowers older than 7 days unless they are fully air dried. Orphic Treasures cannot be held responsible for lost parcels of flowers, please use a tracked service.

  • Save the date deposits are non refundable, please ensure your wedding insurance covers flower preservation in the case of a cancelled wedding. If you need to rearrange your wedding please contact us and we can transfer your deposit to another date. ​

  • Refunds are NOT accepted on flower preservation services but if you have any issues with your items please message me within 7 days of receiving your order. If your order is damaged in transit please retain all packaging and take photos, contact me immediately so I can resolve any issues and repair any damages. We cannot offer resolutions for issues that are reported after 7 days.​​​

  • To customers that have ordered on ETSY - Etsy will want me to mark your order as completed after 8 weeks. However your items may take up to 14 weeks to complete. Unfortunately I cannot stop the automated emails about dispatch. Unless there is a tracking number on the email your items will still be with me. Parcels are always sent tracked. 

  • I try to update you as much as possible throughout the process, this is usually done via email, so please ensure you have added my email address to your safe senders list. Updates are given when your flowers arrive, when they have been dried and when I dispatch your items, other than at these stages there just simply isn't an update to give. If I have any queries, I will always get in contact and wait 3 working days for a response, if I do not hear back within this time period, I will use my professional judgement on the matter. Due to volume of orders and time restraints between pours I cannot wait longer than this.​

  • My processing time varies throughout the year, dependent on seasons. These may be extended around times such as Christmas (I take a 2 week break to spend time with family so please allow for this in calculating your processing time) and high peak wedding season. I reserve the right to extend these beyond the time quoted at booking, I will not rush the preservation or casting process. Please bear this in mind when using my services for gifts. Do however please message me as early as you can if you would like certain items by a certain date and I will always do my best to accommodate.​​​

  • I do not send frame layouts for approval, my creativity is at its best when I freestyle designs. When you book me as an artist you are with the understanding that designs are created by me. If you have seen something I have previously done and would like me to use that for inspiration when I design your frame and create something similar please let me know when ordering. I will not copy another artists' work, so please don't send me photos of someone else's design to copy.

  • Enquiries must be sent via email quoting your order number, I sometimes cannot accurately respond to enquiries on social media due to a high number of customers.
