Before you start preparing your flowers it is important to remember I preserve flowers in the condition they are in when they arrive to me, not how they were when they were fresh. I have perfected these instructions over 3 years, any deviation from my instructions may effect the outcome of your keepsakes. If you are having your flowers pressed it is imperative the blooms are kept DRY, only the stems needs moisture.

  1. Leaving your bouquet intact, cut the end of each stem at a 45 degree angle. Then let the flowers sit in fresh water for 10 minutes to hydrate them for the journey before continuing.

  2. Take them out of the water and wrap the ends of the stems in damp kitchen towel, ensure the ends are covered at the bottom so the flowers can drink the moisture if needed. Only wrap the stems, not the entire flower. Secure this in place with either kitchen foil, or cling film and rubber bands (this stops the petals getting wet and damaged).

  3. Place these in a tall box and use water degradable packing peanuts or scrunched up newspaper to pad out any negative space. DO NOT use bubble wrap or any plastic as this can cause moulding. Your bouquet should travel in an upright position.

  4. Smaller blooms for smaller orders can be banded together and placed in a strong sturdy tupperware box and then posted, I advise tupperware because cardboard boxes can absorb the moisture from the flowers and weaken the box. Please note I do not return tupperware.

  5. On a piece of paper write your full name that you used when placing the order (note this may be your maiden name) along with your order number which can be found on your order confirmation email from either my website or etsy.
Failure to include this may end up with your flowers being disposed of. Tape this to the inside of the box.

  6. If you would like to include any charms, ribbon or other items place these in a zip lock sandwich bag and label with your full name and order number in permanent marker. Please don't send these items for pressed frames unless pre approved.

  7. If you have a preference of what flowers are used in certain items, or have any instructions you would like me to follow, these should be sent as a physical note WITH your flowers not via messenger or email.

  8. Please write FRAGILE LIVE FLOWERS on the box.

  9. Take to the post office and ask for the special delivery, next day guaranteed service (before 1pm only not 9am) this should cost around £11-£14 depending on the size of the box.

  10. I strongly recommend using

Royal Mail, as if I am not in to receive the packages, my postman has a key to a lockbox to put the parcels in. If you use another courier and I am not in I cannot travel to a sorting hub to pick these up.

  11.  If your wedding was on a Friday, we recommend keeping the flowers over the weekend in your care and posting on the following Monday. Royal mail do not deliver on Sundays and they will be sat in a warehouse.

  12. Please ensure you have read my terms and conditions before sending your flowers. I reserve the right to cancel any orders if flowers are unusable due to packaging instructions not being followed, a 30% admin and disposal charge will be deducted from any monies refunded. Please also note I cannot use spray painted flowers in resin.

  13. My address is on your order confirmation email, which is automatically sent with your summary of your full order.

*** Please note by sending your flowers you are confirming you have read my terms and conditions ***

Please consider the environment when packaging your flowers and where you can use bio degradeable and recyclable materials.
